Aarushi's apartment

This apartment is conceived as a calm, characterful home where contemporary interventions sit comfortably alongside familiar, timeless elements. The design centres on warm timber, soft neutral surfaces and muted green accents, creating an understated palette enlivened by art, objects and abundant indoor planting.

Custom-designed details give the home its distinct identity. Fluted-glass partitions framed in black metal define spaces while continuing to transmit light, while sculpted wooden handles and crafted joinery introduce a tactile quality. A fluid teal niche transforms a functional shelving unit into a playful focal point, contrasting with the more restrained living area.

The furniture brings a subtle mid-century influence through exposed timber frames, clean profiles and earthy upholstery. At the heart of the living room, an arched textured wall anchors the television unit and lends the space a quiet architectural presence. The result is a warm and personal interior shaped by craftsmanship, texture and thoughtfully composed details.
